The lore of the old west comes to mind when we carve the cowboys, mountain men and Native Americans.On the gentler side, we have carved some ladies with much softer looks.

The chainsaw carvings are about 5 ft. tall and are carved from basswood, spruce and pine from northern MN. We have carved bears, eagles,sailor,angel,gnome, golfer and a Native American chief in headdress. We do commissions.

Mantles, Shelves and Boxes (8)
The mantles and shelves are carved in acanthus, which is the old world style with gentle curves and swirls. The boxes and plates are chip carved using a gouge.The small boxes make pretty treasure boxes for boys and girls,the large ones for ladies

Relief Carvings (14)
Think of a 1"to 4" deep picture carved in wood.High relief is very deep, low is shallow. Pierced relief has part of the background cut away.Some have the background completely cut away.Included are carvings of religous subjects, bears,horses,etc.
